This was an impromptu shot done outdoor with an SB600 flash mounted on tripod.

Any critiques/suggestions for improvements are very much appreciated. :)

It is a very nice shot. Compostion, exposure and details are all there.

i would prefer a little more light on the left side though.. pehaps a reflector to bounce some of the light from ur flash, a tad too much shadow for me. :)

maybe can consider changing to b/w, might have a different feel.

i really like the lighting of this shot, and i prefer the details lost in shadows. i think that this photo begs to be b+w;)

personally i would have preferred a slightly less wide angle for this shot. this is not because of the pose, but because of the fact that the person's shoes are slightly overpowering. maybe if he was naked feet, it would have been good. (i know you couldnt change that:) but i wonder whether such things should change the way we shoot)

oh and btw, i am just learning myself and have also realised that i am able to think of all these comments only after seeing the photo, whereas while shooting such small things are usually overlooked.

Many thanks for the constructive comments. ;)

re-did with a tighter crop and bw

quite nice, would prefer a slightly longer focal lengh.. the perspective distortion abit too much for my taste... the NB shoes standout too much...
