My friend who is an avid "gamer" in Sands Casino got invitations to MBS opening and skypark opening! Too bad he couldn't make it for MBS opening, but I was asked to go for the skypark opening today =)))
Any idea what I should look out for?

Was at Esplanade yesterday, in the rain, waiting for the opening ceremony.

Had only my 300mm, which was still insufficient to reach the sports climbers ... all I got was as if I was watching ants climbing! Even when the para jumpers jumped from the helicopter, was not able to get them clearly. Nonetheless, the rain really dampened everything.

Left after 6pm, only to return at 9pm when the lighting were turned on. I would say it didn't meet my expectations ... I guess if you really want lights and splendor, Las Vegas is still the place to go.

Wonder why you keep saying it's 5-6pm slot? I cannot find anywhere that says it is up to 6pm only. Can enlighten me?

Anyway now that the event is over, I suppose some would have realised they do not exactly force people to leave when their time is up? Surprisingly, the place didn't get too crowded anyhow.

Also, was any of you stopped from exploring the entire skypark, including the pool? I seem to get free access to just about anywhere!
