heard the sky garden access will only be accessible on the 24th though 23rd is the grand opening..
still awaits for news if require entrance fee.

World championship climb to the Sands Skypark

The Marina Bay Sands 2010 World Championship Climb to the Sands Skypark is the first event of its kind: a speed race to climb the 55-floor Marina Bay Sands hotel, showcasing the courage and skills of some of thee fastest climbers in the word.

The event is a team speed competition, with seven teams of three climbers each, representing seven different regions of the world. The climbers are all world-class professional climbers with a variety of different specialties and strengths. Each team includes one female and two male climbers.

The race is a team relay, with seven climbers on each of the hotel's three towers. Each team must climb the three towers in succession, followed by a sprint across the Skypark to a dramatic finish line where TV cameras, news media, and a special celebrity guest await the winners. A few moments later, skydivers will descend from the sky, pass over the Marina Bay Sands, and land in the waters of Marina Bay to signify the conclusion of the competition and commencement of the evening's entertainment.

Dont worry guys..you all can shoot on top of the skypark...trust me..coz we are the one doing it...
there is a glass opening for all your cameras... you will enjoy the view! :thumbsup:

Just checked my itinerary, sounds pretty tight...

June 23
3-4pm: Gong ceremony
4.30 - 5.30pm: Red carpet welcome
5.30-6pm: Extreme stunt show (i guess this would be the skydivers)
6-7pm: Concert
7-9pm: Media dinner
9-1am: Drinks

June 24
8-11am: Photo op at SkyPark
11.45-1pm: Food tasting
