Mate, thanks for the info. Hope my lone 18-55 kit lens can get decent shots. BTW how do you prepare for this kind of photo outing? whats the ideal camera setting?

the water fountains are very small and most of the fireworks are not too high. don't go to merlion to take photos. watch out for the final bang of fireworks which is bigger and reach higher.

I would like to find out if there are fireworks till 20 feb too. From the website, it says laser music etc; no mention of fireworks.

EDIT: Sorry, just called them. No fireworks.

was there at 930pm last evening. no fireworks, jus some light show.

was watching from esplanade, thus the nice waterworks, can't really see clearly, but u do get a nice view of the whole lightshow.
