looks like Marina Bay will have a bigger event this year for the Countdown 2007 :D
at least it seems that Fireworks are likely to be there...

the news is as follows:
SINGAPORE: More Singaporeans can now make their New Year wishes as part of the Marina Bay Countdown.

Members of the public can write them on white spheres measuring 18, 27 and 36 inches in diameter. These spheres will be floated down the Marina Bay waters from mid-December.

5,000 spheres will be released this year – double the number from last year.

The wishing stations are located at the Esplanade Mall and at shopping centres like Causeway Point, Compasspoint, Northpoint and Centrepoint.

The organisers say they want to attract as many people as they can to write down their heartfelt hopes and dreams for the coming year.

The wishing stations will be open till 17th December. - CNA/so

PS: CSnappers... GEAR UP and be READY!!!... for 2007

JUST bring your CAMERA and SHOOT, SHOOTING and SHOT!!!
anyway IT'S FREE!!! you ain't gonna pay 6% of GST just to watch Fireworks

VivoCity?
got rumours saying VivoCity's Nation's Countdown need entry fee
wonder if it's true... but thinking back, it may be true due to it's limited space when compared to Sentosa's beach :)
ah bo go Vivo better, near my house, no cab can walk home after a great "boom boom boom" while i "snap snap snap" :D

Why worry if vivocity charge for entry. they can only control the people entering their building. Sky is not limit, and not anyone's personal playground. Stand outside vivo, or stand on the bridge and Shootttttt. Haha. Its fun if you achieve your desires, even after being challenged. :bsmilie:

hmmm...

another new year is coming...
Countdown :D
where is everyone's choice of Snapping?

won't it be better to spent time with love ones than bringing a heavy camera and hoping to catch a good shot...
