Hey bro, is that brand Vitacon?
Cos I bought 1 too.. and indeed, it's written "MARCO" on the box..
I wanted to exchange for a canon's WA lens, but the person keep asking me not to.
He kept saying it is good..

I bought it for $100...
From alan photo..
I wanted to get canon original 1.... but he keep asking me to get that...
I dun understand how it works too..
oh, btw, the macro and wide angle lens can be detached..
I didn't know that... haha...

1st of all, ya, it can really take a wider picture..
But I don't know if the macro will affect the quality as I've never use an original wide angle lens before...

alan photo offers bad customer service if u don insisit on it they will force u get the things which are of so called "same quality" they actually left me a bad impression

Ya..
They really do have bad customer service..
I also agree that they actually wanted to clear the "Vitacon's" brand, that's why they're being so pushy at that time..

If you read other thread about Some other CSers asking about Wide Angle lenses, you would have realised that cheap does not always mean good.

Other thread users have recommended the use of a brand called Raynox, which is made in Japan and the magnification is 0.66x,which is really sharp.
