1st time shooting on film for portraits. I testing out on the 4 different type Fujifilm 160S, Fujifilm 160C, Kodak 160VC and lastly the slide on Fuji iso400 RXP. Trying out on which film is best suitable for portraits.

You can get it from Ruby.

would like to read your opinion on the test results. Thanks.

The Pro 160S got the best skin tone of all the films i took. not much grainy as compare to iso400 RXP. Infact i feel that the 160C got both the skin tone color and also more saturated. If you wanna to have both aceptable skin tone and saturated color. The PRO 160C is good choice. Kodak 160VC as compare to Fujifilm as more warmer skintones. Nevertheless 400RXP had nice grainy effect but not on the facial area. My final choice for 1 film will be Fuji 160S for portraits. Using Leica M6 with 50mm.

Nice photos:thumbsup:
Shoot portrait in film is difficult for me due to the yield.

May I know where you process these films?
Thanks.

It was process by fotohub(Beach road) with 4 base scaning.

Lovely pictures bro... the power of film... loved the film grain. Was at the same shoot that morning with you, but the dynamics of the photos of mine are nowhere near yours. :)

great portraits! love all except the iso400 RXP which i find too noisy.

Bras Basah Complex? :D looks like it to me.

Definitely the 160C.
