Mapking R12

Hi there!!

Anyone using Mapking R12 here?

It comes with HTC TyTN II, but it doesn't have alot of roads in it, for me at least.
I can't find quite a few places in singapore.

Anyone know whats the problem?

Depends on what you want to find lah. Most street names would be there, some block numbers are missing in the search tho.

Mapking isn't really a good map for GPS.

Garmin (the leading brand in GPs system) would be a better bet.

Agis is a good one as well.

I'd suggest that you visit MALSING MAPS as their mapking maps are frequently updated. Among other things, they have
i. POI (all blocks in Sg, Hawker, Hospital, Banks, etc..)
ii. Speed Cam warning
iii. ERP warning
iv. Red Light cam warning

Mapking R12 is a very streamlined version.
Upgrade to Mapking V7. Not free, but it's a lot better
