Man Utd draw 1-1 with Swansea at full-time. Wayne Rooney scored from penalty ...

Theatre of Draw :confused::sweat:

No.4 now is getting further away!

Just disappointed we did not finished the game with another goal before the equalizer. Question, why did De Gea asked Herrera to go forward for the wall. If he was supposed to be at the left of the goal pole, he would have stopped the goal. Very funny, last second before the kick he ran forward, leaving the gap on the left where De Gea was wrong footed. The whole game, our defense was half plus seven, neither here nor there. De Gea saves were not better, very fortunate to not land at Swansea player legs a couple of times. I seriously dont think he will be with us next season even if we qualify for UCL. Again, no finisher for our opportunities to score. Lingrad, Rashford, Martial, Rooney just not good enough to score openly. Looks like we may definitely have to win Europa Cup to secure our UCL placing next season. IMO, 10 games draw is just not good enough and has caused us too many points at home and away.

Old Trafford is the toughest place to get a win there even for home team

A draw at Old Trafford again but Man U is through to the Europa League Final.

48' - Goal. Tottenham 2 MUFC 0. Kane touches in Eriksen's free-kick.

A draw at Old Trafford again but Man U is through to the Europa League Final.

Now is a must win to be in UCL

On hindsigh, having gone through the whole season with so many games we played coupled the injuries to key players, we are in 6th position is a very presentable result already. Not mentioning the Charity Shield and the League Cup we won. And very hopefully becoming the Europa Champions by end of next week. In so dong, achieve qualification for UCL 2018. The amount of revenue that may come in due to this achievement etc. These successes must be appreciated by all MU fans. We must also agree that improvements to the team needs to be done going forward. Get rid of heavily salaried old veterans and under performing players. Buy players who are fully committed to MU legacy and character. A lot of work lies ahead for Mourinho to iron out. IMO forget about how well the veterans stars have achieved (British media always sensationalized them), take the former players out and rebuild the current team to move forward.

I agree in part of getting new players. But giving the academy youngsters in the 1st team is crucial for Man Utd. It's some sort of a tradition. Man Utd have been buying players since AF left and none have made a great impact to Man Utd cause. Let the likes of Chelsea or City buy success through buying.

If Man Utd wins the Europa Cup, I hope they don't be contented. They should treat it as the beginning of more hard work following the failure to secure top 4 finish in the EPL.

Nowadays, potential players from Europe seems to shun Man utd if the price is not right. No longer are they intice to play at OT for the prestige and history.

GOAL Man Utd 2-0 Crystal Palace (19 mins). Paul Pogba doubles Utd's lead after good play by Jesse Lingard

The game and result was inconsequential even before kick off.
But the introduction of the youths is so important that at the final whistle I am so assured Man U will make it to the top of European soon enough.
I hope this introduction, showed JM, this is a sure way to success.
Only if a player goes through the youth system, will they have the attitude that makes him a red devil.
Players bought will not have the same attitude.
I can sleep well tonight.

Season have ended and thats where all Transfer Rumours starts to fly!

IN:

First Rumours after season ended by the player himself:

A win to end this season well.
Well done. Hope to do even better next season.

AFC AJAX 0 MANCHESTER UNITED 2

UCL here we come!

UNITED ARE EUROPA LEAGUE WINNERS!

Manchester United have been crowned winners of the 2016/17 UEFA Europa League.

The Reds have now completed the set of major trophies in the club’s illustrious history and secured a coveted place in next season's Champions League.

Paul Pogba's deflected strike in the first half and Henrikh Mkhitaryan's flicked finish early in the second period gave United a 2-0 win in the final at the Friends Arena in Stockholm.

Mkhitaryan's goal is always like out of this world from scorpion kick and this!

Goals

We will now face either Juventus or Real Madrid – who meet each other in the Champions League final in Cardiff on 3 June – in the UEFA Super Cup on 8 August at Philip II Arena in Skopje, Macedonia.

We could add another Super Cup to our trophy cabinet!

Congrats to Mourinho, Man U players and all supporting staff on winning the Europa Cup and so achieve UCL slot next season. This is stepping stone for us to further building a strong team to challenge the UCL, Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup and Charity Shield. Regardless of how we got back to UCL does not matter, most important is for all Man U players to learn their lessons well and do better next season. IMO we can surpass milestones achieved during Alex Ferguson era and bring the club to greater heights going forward.

Our complete set...

UEFA Champions League
UEFA Europa League
UEFA Super Cup
UEFA Cup Winners' Cup

We are the second team in England to complete following Chelsea.

Hope we can add on Super Cup and Next season UCL or a treble perhaps?

As of now lets see who we sign for next season ... Rumours got it maybe another 4 more players ... seems bit slow(signing) compare to last season lol ...
