Macro Ring Lite MR-14EX

Anyone has the above? How is the quality of the image taken with this and any samples to show?

Maybe considering buying this for macro photography.

Well, it's a very specialised flash for your close up shots. Seen it in action before and basically the ring flash gives very even results. My friend uses it for taking a lot of jewelleries and jade ornament at one point of time and I was very impressed with the kind of results it gave.

And it's not cheap btw, TCW quoted me $800 for it just yesterday. Saw it at AP too, but didn't ask about the price

Yes, I know it is very expensive, more than enough to buy a brand new budget digicam.

Anyway can show some shots? Would very much appreciate to see the end results.

are there any ring flash we can also consider? no need ETTL, most important can adjust flash output but got TTL will be a bonus.

ML3 also cost abt 00+ rite...think also rather overpriced...
