I was wondering how does macro lens +10 , +4, +2, +1 compare to the 6T, 4T ?
I bought a set of 4 macro lens, and trying to make the best out of them. Does +4 and +2 add together to become 6T?
These are called closeup filters. Different filter vendors have their own branding.
For HOYA,
HOYA closeup filter +1 (+1 Diopter)
HOYA closeup filter +2 (+2 Diopter)
HOYA closeup filter +3 (+3 Diopter)
HOYA closeup filter +4 (+4 Diopter)
HOYA closeup filter +10 (+10 Diopter)
For Nikon,
Nikon closeup Lens No. 3T IC 52mm (+1.5 Diopter)
Nikon closeup Lens No. 4T IC 52mm (+3.0 Diopter)
Nikon closeup Lens No. 5T IC 62mm (+1.5 Diopter)
Nikon closeup Lens No. 6T IC 62mm (+3.0 Diopter)
For Canon,
Canon closeup Lens 250D (+4.0 Diopter)
Canon closeup Lens 500D (+2.0 Diopter)
A +2 and +4 closeup stack will give +6 diopter effect
