I'd actually be travelling to the above stated places on th 3rd-10th dec at the end of this yr

Do recommend me to some places to travel to as well as to shoot beautiful sceneries of while I'm these places.

If it's lantau island, I rather take the bus up than the cable car. Cause it's very long queue early in the morning. Depends on where you stays in HK, going to lantau takes some time, so, be well prepare. At macau, you can walk but, to the fort cannon, it's on top of a hill and quite steep, fyi. But once up there, you can see the whole macau, 360 degrees, nice. The other 2 places, I didn't go, no info, haha!

It's nearby, you ask around the people over there. Cause cable car queue can kill your time. Ha ha! Btw, I took a bus to tai o before taking a bus to big Buddha there. You can consider that option but you need to go over early.

For hongkong, I personally liked Stanley market a lot. Not so much for the shopping, but for the atmosphere there.

Lots of rustic stuff there. But the last time I visited was more than 5 years ago so don't know if things have changed

Forget the timing as got people alight and board. Go do some finding, for easy travelling. The buses at the lantau island there. Over there, got mtr station. Last station, better sit as journey is long. Ha ha! If you dare not to take bus, go by cable car and go to big Buddha, still ok.

i ony been to hong kong.
for street photography, go to those night market near jordan mtr(i forgot the name)
go to avenue of stars, its one of the best scenery out there and also the peak. or try to visit admiralty and wan chai, for city scape.
i also rode the tramline just to see more places than travelling with mtr
when i went there last february, i only relied on these:

Yup. But it's a good place for photography if you not in a hurry. You can have a boat ride and depends on your luck, you might saw some dolphins. Anyway, all the best on your trip.

There is so much to see and do in Hong Kong that 7 days will barely be enough. I lived there for 3 years and thoroughly enjoyed it. Here are some highlights:

Hong Kong:

1. Ocean Park:
Is a great way to spend a day. Ocean Park is an amusement park that is very popular with the locals and foreigners. If I had to choose between Ocean Park and Disney World HK, I would definately go with Ocean Park.

2. The Peak:
Provides a fantastic mountain view of the city. Day or night, excellent photos can be taken.

3. Avenue of the Stars:
Next to the Star Ferry terminal in Tsim Sha Tsui is the Avenue of the Stars akin to the Walk of Fame in Hollywood. There are stars embedded into the walkway of all the famous Chinese film stars including Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee. This area is also a great place to take photos of Hong Kong's famous skyline especially at night. Hong Kong's famous 'clock tower' is also located in this area right by the ferry terminal.

4. Mong Kok:
Is the most crowded place I've ever been to on the face of the earth! Anything and everything is available there... it is a city on its own! One of the most famous places is the Lady's Market in the middle of Mong Kok. It also has several reputable camera stores that offer the best prices in the world.

5. Sai Kung:
Located further north in Hong Kong's rural areas, Sai Kung is a great place for seafood. There are several restaurants located right by the sea which offer the best that seafood offers. There are also boats that can be rented to take you to small islands in the harbour.

6. Hong Kong Wetland Park:
Located near the border with Mainland China, the HK Wetland Park offers several varieties of birds which can be photographed in their natural habitat. So close to the border that you can see the skyline of Shenzhen in the background.

7. Lantau Island:
Tai O and Ngong Ping 360 are the places to see (which have been mentioned previ.

8. Shatin:
There are many many mountains that provide beautiful hiking trails all over the city and on many of the outlying islands. One that is relatively easy to climb and conveniently located is positioned right behind the main Shatin mall or shopping centre (Shatin MTR station will take you there). On top of the mountain is a Christian Retreat Centre and right beside is a Buddhist Temple. Both are very beautiful.

9. Outlying Islands:
Other than Lantau Island, Hong Kong has several outlying islands that can offer more than a day's experience. Two of the most popular, are Lamma Island and Cheung Chau Island. If you decide to venture to either of these islands, be prepared to do a lot of walking as motor vehicles are non-existent. Of course, renting a bicycle is always an option.

10. Harbour Cruises:
I found this to be a wonderful and relaxing way to tour Hong Kong's famous Victoria Harbour. Several tour boats are available for a nominal price. Of course the regular Star Ferry can also be employed at the cheapest fare of all.

Shenzhen:

I don't know Shenzhen very well but one of the best places I had visited there is called, Windows of the World. It is a huge park which offers replica's of all the famous landmarks of the world including the Egyptian pyramids, Niagara Falls, the Eiffel Tower, etc. Worth worth seeing and highly recommended.

Macau:

1. Casinos - I've been to Las Vegas too and Macau rivals the original gambling capital of the world
2. The Venetian Macau - well worth walking through... one of the most remarkable hotels I've stayed anywhere in the world
3. Ruins of St Paul's Church - the most famous landmark in Macau
4. The Macau Tower - are you into bungee jumping?
5. Fortaleza de Monte - great view of the city

Well..talking about the Macau bungee jump, I'd definitely love to go and try that free fall

In Shenzhen, the theme parks Window of the World (世界之&#31383, Splendid China (锦绣中&#21326 and Happy Valley (欢乐&#35895 are all near to each other. The first two can easily take you one whole day just to explore each park and take endless pictures of the miniatures. Late afternoon and evening will have the shows and performances for each (Personally, I find performance at Splendid China to be much more enjoyable). Not sure about Happy Valley, didn't went there as feel its a more "conventional" theme park - roller coaster and stuff, less photography unless shooting travel partners in rides.

If you are into military stuff, Minsk World I heard is rather run down.
