Hi folks

Need help. I got an external HD which i formatted using Windows. My Mac can read the files off the HD when connected via USB. However, I cannot write to the HD.

I then formatted the HD using Mac format. Now I can write but my Windows PC cannot read it.

Is there a solution for interoperability?

Thks

IIRC they are using different file systems. So solution is to go through networked storage.

I also tried formating it in Mac as a RAID drive, but after adding the HD, it just does not allow me to continue. Perhaps I need to have 2 HD connected to MAC simultaneously to do so.

RAID is not networked storage leh.

you have to either set up the hdd to access thru the network, via FTP, samba or whatever, or format the hdd as FAT or FAT32. MacOS can't work with NTFS.
