then it shld be fine i think:think: shldnt be much of a problem...

i'm still experimenting with IR. perhaps i wanna find under what conditions do i get what effects. IR is fun in the sense u cant see. a lot of instinct. i wanna try see what variables i must tweak to get what effects. would be helpful:)

For me, i use gray card to manual set my camera WB at each shooting location, [pure white surface also work great]but i fully shoot in RAW, i can click on different parts of image to get different color scheme on d image..very fun to play in DPP as i'am using Canon..u click on leaves, whole color changes, click on tree trunk..another color scheme come out,,just endless fun..Depend on personal taste lor...;) it sound silly??

That's the problem, I have a lot of M42 lenses with me but didn't have the chance to test
in IR :bheart:

Like that will be heart breaking for me 2...anyway..since u have alot of M42 lens...do u have chances to bump into Fujicon EBC 24mm?? Very rare in Ebay...:embrass:

try PM "fatigue"...he said that he involves in reconditioning a lot of M42 lens..;);)

Updates to all Infrared Photographer,
Yesterday I used "Tamron Adaptamatic 21mm F4.5" on a shooting trip with my Sifu. I think he hack and modified the mount to M42.."Crazy"..
I tested on my 350D 665nm infrared and all shots taken at F14 no hotspot.
As i know this lens is late 1960an..and all adaptamatic lens is 'Single coating"..Wu hooo..But D lens owner said is not for sale..****..
My next target is Fujicon EBC 28mm which is M42 mount also...Really need to test D EBC coating on Infrared Photography...n this lens is not so rare compare with above "Evil"
