What is the aspect ratio?

Any idea if it is advisable to get the auto lens cap and where to get them?
Read somewhere that it will scrap the finishing off the camera over time.

i am also a new proud owner of an LX-7...
currently using Canon 550D (Canon 50mm, Tamron AF 18-270mm F/3.5-6.3 Di II VC, Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4 DC Macro OS) and of course my new baby LX-7...
Seriously... i LOVE my LX-7...
Bought my LX-7 for my recent europe trip... will be posting some photos soon...
