ok managed to get a leather case for LX3 from hub. It has a lumix logo and a panasonic word imprinted. The screw on base look similar to original but the front flap look different....anyway was told it's 35 bucks and I bought it...happy with it so far...but seem like a chiong one tho....

ya that's the one, no need to spend $99, the 35dollar one definitely good enough, too bad no side pouch for spare batt and sd card....but still loving it...may look for a broader strap tho...
