currently looking for a videocam, is there any specialist shop (like CP or MS for photography) that I should go to?

eyeing either SONY PD170 or FX1E, any forum can advise?

I think there are a couple in SLS and SLT which deals with these.. Most may need you to place an order.

besides SL, any other place? as I am aware of the salesperson attitude and additional area the place is famous for.....

any advise compared to PD170? the FX1E looks more superior in all expects, except without the XLR ports and 'seems' PD170 perform better in low light.
