Hi,

Can you suggest few other model that fit
my usage.

1) Must be compact, have good macro mode.
2) Must have manual setting and wide aperture f2.8 or below.
3) Simple video is must.
4) Shooting 98% of picture indoor
5) Budget below $600 is the best

Have in mind Lumix LX3 (slightly ex.),
Nikon P6000(slightly ex, high iso not good),
Canon a590 IS(very good value, but small aperture and macro not as good as LX3).

please suggest another few alternative?
Thanks

Sometimes it is hard to meet all requirement in one compact camera, if you have read a lot reviews in DPreview, you will find that. Even DSLR is not so easy too.

So, sometimes, after much read up, you need to know which is your priority, and try compromise :)

I would suggest LX3. To meet requirement #1,2,5, almost not much left...

I really like the Canon G10. Doesn't get enough respect. I know tons of wedding photographers that carry this camera instead of buying a macro lens for ring shots due to the great images, raw image capabilities and other options. Really great camera for the money. One of only two PS cameras I recommend.
