Hi guys,

Something from the zoo taken a while back..

WZ4R7985ER.jpg

There seems to be a playful, relaxed feel to the subject due to the orientation. In terms of composition, I was tempted to take it off centre, but decided that the focal point could work with a "in your face" approach due to the relatively clean background.

Comments/critique be it good or bad are appreciated.

Thanks!

Cheers,

The focus is off centre, to me the subject of this composition is the eyes, and it is placed off centre which works for me, overall a good capture of a good moment but I feel that a slightly tighter crop would make this composition better.

i like this pic... can see the monkey grinning and asking the viewer to "look here".. :D

Thanks guys for the comments.

Ortega, I was considering a tighter crop, but that resulted in loosing the foreground which gives a clue the orientation of the monkey. Maybe I give it another go and see how it turns out.

Cheers,
