Hi Fred, for #1 - if the subject is the couple walking towards you, then I think it is too far already.
The wide angle view is very nice but there seems to be no strong subject. just my 2 cents

Hi Jimtong, agree with you on this one, I dare not go closer lah ... ;p What I like about #1 is the way the lamp post to lined up ... nothing arty I guess.

#2 is good.
#3 - what happen to the statue top
