BLACKPOOL CLOSE IN ON HAMMILL​

Blackpool are reportedly closing in on the loan signing of Liverpool winger Adam Hammill.

The Anfield outfit have made Hammill available for loan as they look for him to gain more first-team experience.

A number of clubs have expressed an interest in signing the talented wideman, but according to Skysports.com Blackpool have jumped to the head of the queue for Hammill's signature.

Tangerines boss Simon Grayson is a big admirer of Hammill and the young winger is thought to be keen on a switch to the Championship side.

Blackpool are now hoping to try and thrash out a deal to bring the highly-rated youngster to Bloomfield Road.

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez sees Hammill as a big part of his plans in the future and it's also understood the club have rewarded the player with a new deal before sending him out on loan.

SUNDERLAND ARE GOING TRANSFER CRAZY

As well as chasing four Spurs players, Sunderland are closing in on the signing of Borussia Dortmund's Mladen Petric according to The Sun.

Maybe that means Andriy Voronin will be heading there - the word on the street is that a German club are going to pay £3m for him as Rafa scrambles round trying to make some money for Messrs Barry and Keane.
