Was spotting for Black Head Munias but this Richard Pipit came along and perched right smack in front of me while i was setting up.

As my motto goes, MTL , have to perform the inevitable....LENS PT !

Me either. Was surprised at the size of the talons when i viewed the pictures later.
Maybe he uses it like a toothpick ?

Now a 500mm lens feels like a walkabout lens to me.
