ortega: i tried looking on another CRT monitor, colours appear alright, hmmm ... but i did make it a little wamer in #1 for the colours of the dried grass, otherwise no change in brightness/colour balance for the others

thanks for the feedback ... don't like that lah, wait the experts chio kau peng leh :bsmilie:

noted for #3, i probably should have cropped more inwards to make the insect's head and body the focal points. was quite amazed to be able to get such closeups with the lens ;p
