Listing for Land/City-scapes Venues - SINGAPORE

- Sunrise

4. Changi Coast Road "Lampost 171" - Behind Changi Airport (Via Driving Only) Beautiful place, no crowd, no man's land, huge desert, about 20mins drive from the main road. Accessible only on weekends. Till date, only 4X4 and some LGV can drive right to the end, saloon cars better don't try. About an hour walk from the enterance. Nice scenery all day and night.

Went down that way this morning to scout it out (Sunrise was a bust, hazy and cloudy)

There doesn't seem to be any way to get into this area anymore, the whole stretch is fenced off.

Further up the road towards Changi Village there are two options (The following is for driving, not sure about other means of transport)

1. Carpark 7 - It's on Changi Ferry Road, big signpost.
Park there (it's free at the moment though barriers are under construction) and it's a 1 minute walk to the beach. If you are on the left of the ferry terminal the terminal may actually block your view of the sunrise as it juts out into the sea, though might be nice to include in your shot. If possible try to get onto the beach to the right of the ferry terminal, nothing blocking the view there.

2. Carpark 6 - Further up towards Changi Village from Changi Ferry Road on the right.
Park and the beach is right there, it's not free but early morning not much chance of traffic cop and you can see your car anyway. unobstructed view towards the East.
