Scorpions, Yes, GnR, Bon Jovi, Duran Duran, Nirvana, Journey, Paul Young, Elton John, Phil Collins, U2, Angra, Daryl Hall & John Oates, Bee Gees, Air Supply, Manowar, Megadeth, Billy Joel, Aerosmith, ACDC, Chicago, Climie Fisher, Crowded House, Culture Club, Boy George, George Michael, Dire Straits, Eric Clapton, Gary Moore, Glenn Frey, Go West, INXS, KISS, Firehouse, Men At Work, Metallica, Paul MacCartney, Peter Cetera, Tears For Fears...

80s songs really rock huh! The artistes survive longer too. And the words are more soulful and meaningful. Nowadays, most pop groups and singers come and go.

These days pop songs are so hard to appreciate! Is it a sign of getting old liao?!!! 98.7 and 98.0 used to be THE station I listen to. Nowadays, I find they play music I cant appreciate. Sigh...

Kon Kan, Paula Abdul, Bros, Whitney Houston, Tommy Page, Pet Shop Boys, Milli Vanilli, etc...

Songs by Culture Club, Terrence Trent D'arby, Deacon Blue, Spandau Ballet, BROS (yeah yeah, everyone loved them at one time, so don't call me gay), T'Pau, Bomb Da Bass, U2 and more bands that were featured in Smash Hits.

Krush - House Arrest :)

First single (some of you young people won't know what one of those is!) bought: Kings of the Wild Frontier by Adam and the Ants

12" single

Either

Where the Streets Have No Name by U2 - because it had The Sweetest Thing on the B-side, which became a big hit for them when they released their Greatest Hits CD in 2001

or

Temple of Love by Sisters of Mercy - very cool and makes me smile thinking about how we used to dance to that one at "Youth Club"

Too many others to mention! Could be here all day!

The 80's .......

Bryan Adam - Straight From The Heart / Heaven
