Link Chinese Culture Photography Contest is back.

This competition is currently in it's 4th edition (8th year) and revolves around the Chinese Culture in Singapore. The objective of this competition is to enable the public to better appreciate the values of the Chinese culture, and hopefully, gets the younger generation to understand more about the Chinese culture through photography. This contest is jointly organised by Singapore Lam Ann Association, Singapore Amoy Association and Nanyang Neo Clan Association. Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Association is one of the supporting unit for this contest.

This contest is open to all nationalities, race and religion, as long as the picture meets our theme of Chinese culture in Singapore. In fact, we look forward to see how our non-Chinese friends interpret what Chinese Culture means to them through their photos.

The closing date for this edition is on 31st Oct 2014. All pictures that are taken in 2013 and 2014 are eligible for submission to this competition. The prizes for each category are as follows:

Open Category
First prize:$2,000 + Travel package for 2 to China
Second prize:$1,200 + Travel package for 2 to China
Third Prize:$800.00 + Travel package for 2 to China
5 merit prizes: $500 each

Student category
First prize:$800
Second prize:$500
Third prize:$300
5 merit prizes: $150 each

School Merit Prize
$500 cash + Trophy

There's less than 1 month before the current edition of this competition come to a close. Have you started preparing your images for submission to our competition? Everyone has a chance and we look forward to your entries and you could walk away as one of the winners of our attractive prizes. We also look forward to more entries from our non-Chinese friends and your interpretation of the Chinese Culture theme.

In addition, as a heads up, judging will be conducted on 9th November 2014 (Sunday) at Singapore Lam Ann Clan Building (Address: 30 Mohamed Sultan Road, Lam Ann Building, Singapore 238974 Tel: 6737 3866). The timing will be announced at a later date. Members of the public are welcome to seat in and observe the open judging process.

Thank you for all the submissions for this competition. The competition is now closed.

Judging will be conducted next Sunday, 9th Nov 2014 from 10am. Details as follows:

Date: 9 Nov 2014
Time: From 10am onwards
Venue: 30 Mohammed Sultan Road, Lam Ann Building Singapore (238974)

Members of the public are welcome to sit in and witness the open judging process.

Hi Zaren, as this contest was judged with prints, we are still in the midst of consolidating the digital files. I will provide the link to the winning photos once it is available.

Moving forward, we will be looking into the possibility of digital entries.
