Currently accquired the lightsphere II,having some doubts on the proper use of it.
I have no problem using it indoor but for outdoor, anyone can advise on
1) should i not use the half dome and point upward
2) Use half dome point directly at subject.

Presume outdoor open space.
Find it quite troublesome to fit the half dome and remove it so is it possible i choose option 1 and still get result?

Option 1 might get under-exposed.

According to the LS site, outdoor should use the half dome and point straight at the subject. Use higher ISO if you want more ambient light.

oh,it seem here
http://www.digitalphotographers.net/LSG/
that it say shooting with half dome pint directly at subject when outdoor.
Guess really no choice, quite troublesome, thought of lumiquest or bounce card but not sure where to get them.

u can leave the dome cap on when shooting outdoors and firing straight too...though tt would give u warmer colours....

cheers..
