Lightroom Raw Support for D5000

I can't import Raw(NEF) to Lightroom 2.3
Do I have to wait for Lightroom 2.4 release?

Not sure if LR2 can handle ACR 5.4. Website states it is only for CS4.

Anyways, fyi, I recently got the EOS 500d and as my CS3 does not support ACR 5.4, my work around was to download the latest DNG converter,
convert my CR2 RAW files to DNG (to be readable for ACR 4.6) and work on the resulting DNG file in CS3.

Yes, LR2 can accept ACR. In fact, LR and CS4 share the same ACR engine. Check http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjournal/ for details.

You're correct to say that the latest version of ACR can only be used in CS4 products.

Downloaded and tried to install ACR 5.4
"Cannot Install. Please click the Quit button." is what appeared during the installation process.

LR and ACR is 2 different software.

You will have to wait for LR 2.4.
