Lightning shot

Has anyone use digital camera to capture lightning shot before? And how do you go about it? It seems that my finger is too slow for the shot, and is there any lightning sensor for digital camera?

If you are using a pro digital SLR, yes.

If not, refer to the other thread isomers mentioned. You cannot adopt the "wait for the lightning to strike then I press the shutter" method. Not only are your fingers slow, there's also a shutter lag which will make you miss the shot.
