I have a very old camera that has the light proofing material disintegrated. How much does it cost to have it serviced? Any recommendations? thanks.

What sort of camera are you refering to?

The foam used for sealing backs etc isn't that expensive, however the labour is the killer.

I'd suggest you take the camera to a repair facility and get a quote.

Its a revueflex I bought 2nd hand. The foam has disintegrated into a greasy mess, and I don't think I have the time, patience or skills to refoam the camera... Guess I have to go to a professional for help, hehehe...

Yep and it's worth having the camera CLA'd at the same time. (clean, lube, adjust).
