To commemorate Singapore's 48th Birthday, Lianhe Zaobao is collaborating with Canon to organise a photo competition themed "最爱新加坡♥ Singapore". Photos will be judged by Zaobao's photojournalists and winning entries will be published on Aug 9 in Zaobao.
Prizes sponsored by Canon are:
1st prize: worth S$999, inclusive of Canon EOS 100D with EFs 18-55mm lens
2nd prize: worth S$599, Powershot G15
3rd prize: worth S$399, Powershot N
Winners will also get a Selphy CP900 printer worth S$199
You are welcomed to email your pictures to zbevents@sph.com.sg with the subject “最爱新加坡”摄影比赛. Please accompany the photo with a caption of not more than 150 Chinese characters explaining how the picture relates to the theme. The contest is open to Singapore Citizens and PRs only. Deadline for the contest is July 26, 2013 (Friday). Entries will also be published on Canon's Facebook page so supporters can "like" them.
Please take note of the following photo requirements: photos size not exceeding 2MB, .JPEG file, resolution of 2400x2000, 200DPI. Please also include personal details: name (in English & Chinese), gender, age, NRIC number, contact number, address.
配合新加坡今年欢庆独立48周年，《联合早报》与Canon联办“最爱新加坡”摄影比赛，邀请读者以“最爱新加坡”为主题发挥创意，通过摄影镜头捕捉生活点滴，表达你对新加坡的爱。由早报摄影组担任的评判团队将选出三张最优秀和贴近主题的参赛照片，脱颖而出的参赛者能获得Canon赞助的奖品。得奖作品也将在8月9日早报当天的国庆版刊登。
　　比赛首奖是价值999元的EOS 100D Canon相机配套，包括EFS 18-55变焦镜头。第二奖是价值599元的PowerShot G15，第三奖则是价值399元的Powershot N。得奖者也会各获得一台价值199元的Selphy CP900照片打印机。
　　每张参赛照片须附上一段紧扣“最爱新加坡”主题的短文，字数限制在150个华文字内。比赛开放给新加坡公民和永久居民参加，截止日期是本月26日（星期五）。有兴趣参赛的公众可把照片电邮到zbevents@sph.com.sg。
　　在电邮作品之前，请确保每张照片符合规定：照片不宜超过2MB；须存为JPEG或JPG格式；像素分辨率为2400x2000，200DPI。电邮标题应为“最爱新加坡”摄影比赛，并列明华英文姓名、性别、年龄、身份证号码、手机号码或住家电话号码，以及电邮和住址。为了增加比赛的互动性，参赛照片也会登上Canon面簿的网页，让更多人欣赏和支持。
