Instead of the Zoo, Bird Park or Botanic Gardens, which of the following appeals the most for the next PhotoShoot (date to be determined).

Choose!

Singapore:
Upper/Lower Pierce Reservoir
Seletar Reservoir
MacRitchie Reservoir
Changi Village
Singapore River
The farms up at Lim Chu Kang + Sunrise/Sunset shots

Why not hang around outside Marriot Hotel and shoot the wildlife there?

i actually prefer the birds around Shenton way......there's more variety of species, esp around summer......

the easiest way to catch them is when they come out foraging for food.

remember to bring at least a 200mm there!

Is that when they shed most of their feathers?

yes. due to the hot weather, many species shed their bright colored plumage when they come out to feed. that's when they are also the most active.

Be sure to set up your hide in the shade, as the weather can be unbearably hot this time of the year.

the other time to catch the birds is during late evening, when they start their daily migratory patterns.
