Been trying to detect the usb storage photo storage drive in Mac but seems that the drive will not show itself in the finder. Disk utility did not see the drive either. when i went into the system profiler, it showed a usb2 device correctly plugged in.

any idea how to make leopard see that drive>

No idea bro. Does the drive have sufficient power supplied to it from the USB cable?

BTW, latest patch at the date of this post is 10.5.2.

Have the same problem with 2 Cheap OTG HDD casings also.
http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=349209

I have 2 OTG hard disk casings.
Both are those that u need to attach an external 4xAA batt holder and card reader.

The problem comes when I plug into leopard. The thing just don't detect.
But when I boot camp into vista (on the same machine), everything works perfectly.

Definitely not the file system too. I took the HDD in the OTG, and put into a normal casing (no OTG functions), and it works perfectly in both OS.

Damn... I'm beginning to hate big cats.
