Lenses help please

Hi
i have a Canon SLR rebel TX old style
i have to lenses one is a 38-76 1:4.5-5.6

and the other one is a 28-90 1:4-5,6
both lenses are made by Canon my quisten is what is the diffents between them
and is one better for out side then the other

nice riddle. My guess is 28-90 1:4-5,6 better for outdoors? Difference is in width and zoom

Why don't you try both lenses and draw a conclusion based on your test? It helps you to understand the characteristic of both lenses.
