Lenses, etc cheaper in the USA?

I will be making a trip to the USA soon....any idea if lenses (nikons, tamrons, etc) are cheaper there?

anybody knows if anything (photography related) at all worth buying in the USA since prices in S'pore are pretty decent to begin with.

for tamron and sigma, you better buy in asia, hongkong more cheaper, for the rest u might need to check again, and don't forget to add 8.625% US TAX to your items.

go www.bhphotovideo.com to check the price and compare with gray market here, if you find its cheaper then buy lor.....
