lense to shoot buildings and houses

hello all ,

im confused about which wide angle lense is good for shooting buldings or houses ..
plan to used it for web design for the headings .

depending on the camera and requirements, even an 18-55 will do.

Also, a lot of it depends on how exacting the results must be.

For casual usage/purposes, just about any lens will do if you stop it down enough, but serious work, architectural photographers usually use a large-format camera or for smaller formats, a tilt and shift lens.

Do perspective and distortion matter a lot to you? If not, then most wide-angle lens can handle it. Otherwise, you would be better off with tilt-shift lenses or even large-format cameras...

depending on the severity, can use the distortion tool in photoshop to fix.

Depends on what sort of quality is required.

It's proven that after the corrections in post production, the image quality of non TSE shots as compared to those taken and corrected with TSE lenses are distinctively inferior (one looks sharp, and the other like it was shot through a veil). :bsmilie:

The requirements can be very different between houses and buildings. Like the good people said before, you need to be more specific.
