Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 APO Super MACRO

Guys, i've a D70s and i'm wondering if this lens can actually autofocus with my camera?
Does it work the same way as how a 18-55mm kit would work?

I have both D70s and Sigma lens. No problem for AF.

This Sigma lens don't have internal AF motor like 18-55mm kit lens, so it is different. But as user, you will only notice speed different to achieve focus between them.

Yeah the lens works fine with the D70s. Had a colleague who used to on the above mentioned configuration, works well. Take pretty good shots. You might find the AF a little slow if you try to cover sports action. Other than that, its a pretty good piece of lens.

Why not? Make sure you get the correct mount (Nikon instead of Canon or any other mount).:)

I suggest you go for the nikkor 70-300mm G. That lens is tact sharp and cheap as well.
