Hi, I have a question hoping someone can answer. I once heard someone mention that once a lens is serviced, it never reaches its factory ceiling i.e. not as good as before. Is that true?

Some who have experienced says so cos the technician do a sucky job. I myself have had bad experience with the non-so-competent tech guys also before.
