Lens has a little bit of fungus but I haven't used it for a year.....

Heya guys,

Have a little bit of a dilemma here.... I found some slight fungus in my older Nikon lens bought years back in 2004.... but I don't use this anymore so am wondering what to do with this.... A couple of questions for your thoughts and comments pls....

1. Should I send it for cleaning at NSC ?
2. Should I separate it from my other lens/camera storage in my dry cab ?

Just wondering what to do with this really.... If I get it cleaned, it'll also be sitting there. If I junk it, quite a waste......

If the fungus doesn't affect contrast, sharpness or any aspects of image quality, then you're fine.

Or else you can go NSC or look up for a cs member: Fatigue.
