Peter Karbe is the man behind the redesigned Noctilux-M 50mm f/0.95, Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4, the zoom lens in the X-Vario and of course, all the S system lens. Not to mention, he was also instrumental in the development of the new APO-Summicron 50mm f/2 ASPH, the benchmark 50mm lens for 35mm cameras now.
