It's good that Olympus finally got the guts to add an EVF to the Pen line--that you couldn't leave at home.

I might have considered this if it had been available when the GX8 was new.

Rumors are what I hope ... Rumors. EP5/VF4/17F1.8 was then at a price of $1998 at SRP so I guess maybe somewhere similar will be good.

According to digicame, the prices are body 999 pounds, 14-42 kit 1099 pounds & 17mm kit 1199 pounds so guess it will be more than 2k in Sg.

Most probably, it's still new technology, eventually, we may not need to mount it anymore. But for now, I wouldn't be surprised if we have to. I'm not too keen on having 50mp files to edit, and since it doesn't work with flashes, I wouldn't really use it
