Have been using good old CRT monitor to view pics. Thinking of changing to LCD 19inch.
But the thing is my Fujitsu laptop LCD sucks bigtime - only brightness control and no other control like contrast and color. My pics looks terrible on that LCD. Wonder if those LCDs for desktop is any better. Recently, saw the 19inch LCD on offer by Dell with the full set. Prices might be attractive, but picture quality not as good?
In terms of pleasing to the eyes, energy consumption, LCD better.
Recently at Mustapha, I saw some LCD TV that gives great contrast, brightness and colors -fabulous.
If got picture quality as good as CRT, and price pretty affordable, sure to go for it. Perhaps, not all LCDs are made the same.
