Does anyone know where can I find information on the gamut of the various LCDs on the market?

Tried googling but not much success. Interested in getting a good LCD with a gamut as wide as Adobe RGB if possible.

not very sure, but tomshardware did have some reviews including gamut and other info

e.g. http://www.tomshardware.com/2006/07/03/wide_format_lcd_monitors/
interesting to see that even the expensive Sony only support SRGB.... the new epson P5000 supports close to aRGB.

One thing I found out was the LED LCDs supposedly have wider gamut. The sony Vaio TX series is all LED LCDs. But somehow sony never market that point.... does the TX series laptop has very good color reproduction?

edit:
found a new link showing that the LED LCDs of sony laptop not very good in color :(

LED's are not created equal...I believe the ones you have heard about are from NEC...the price of those babies are in the 5 figure range...

but those LCDs I believe fully cover Adobe RGB :D
