i think this will be the most compelling feature of all for most of us here...

"Integrated digital camera raw file support
Get truer, higher quality output by working with the complete raw data files from most major digital camera models."

more new features here...

I believe the shadow/highlight feature makes many things much easier, unless the adobe guy used a fake photo LOL...

about $1239
I thought I read in today Computimes that the prices were:-

S$2.1K+ for the Professional package
S$1.8K+ for the Standard package

The above could be RRP/MSRP, and what you quoted are street prices. Still ... expensive :(

a bit OT here, but please bear with me.

dpreview announcement of Adobe PS CS
the second pic, the one with the heading "Adobe Photoshop CS: Camera RAW" - that's a shot of the city hall area right?
Yup, looks like it.

Phil was in Singapore recently (apparently had a Pentax ist*d for review) and for history fans, you might be pleased to know that DPReview started off in Singapore (can't remember what was the website called).

Hmmm... I thought I asked him not to post the picture of my Ferrari ....

Will probably be there as well.

Phil Askey started photo.askey.net when he was working in Singapore. It was later changed to dpreview.com. But it's the same site.

Very solid to use... the RAW function and of coz the keyboard shortcut functions and the many new enhancements are a great welcome. the workflow's more defined now and definitely more powerful than PS7

Been playing wit it and I must say
adobe's getting very competitive which benefits the consumers :)
