Searching one for my sis and saw one shop in People's park selling $630 with standard package exclude 7% gst, similar as MS color at around $674. I guess LX4 will be announced soon, so advice my sis to wait a while more for new model.

Saw some selling used one online for $550 without warrenty and suprisingly people still buying them.

Actually the optical zoom can go up to 4.5X if you set it at lower resolution.

Actually no...cos 4.5X is still optical zoom. And i rarely use the highest resolution since the file size is so big and i dont need to print the pictures out. Only when you use digital zoom then picture quality will be affected.

The image produce buy 4.5x is similar to cropping your picture.
The shrarpness is no longer there. Tell me are you satisfied with that result?
