Laptop Case Into Mobile Darkroom For Location Shoots

Dear all,

Pardon me for ignorant. As a photographer myself for years, I still dont get the term for this item correct. This kind laptop bags are like the normal ones we commonly see. Location photographers have this kind of bags where when opened up, you will have a hood to hang on to the sides thus allowing tethered shooting as well as viewing of photos through this mobile darkroom.

May I know what is this kind of bag called?

The case, as he mentioned is the Pelican case. If you are refering to the hood, i think its called Laptop Hood or Laptop shade.

I, too, have been trying to look for something like that...

Ha Ha... Thanks guys... I think I will DIY one. I guess what I will be needing are:

- a pair of cutter
- some black cloths
- some metal sticks
- a couple velcro
- a laptop bag

I will update you guys once it's done.

TT's one is a wind catcher... and not as easy to set-up. This is my opinion. Thats why never bought it. haha...
