1. In what area is critique to be sought?
Comments on composition, exposure and editing.

2. What one hopes to achieve with the piece of work?
To capture the morning sunrise over a vast landscape.

3. Under what circumstance is the picture taken? (physical conditions/emotions)

Cold, wet and overcast Sunday morning that I did not expect any picture to be taken.
A wait and see attitude to see what nature throws in my way.

4. What the critique seeker personally thinks of the picture
I personally like the photo for the early morning sunlight breaking through the clouds with the orange glow. Overall I think the picture is too soft and can be further improved on the technique for better exposure.

i feel that there is nothing particularly significant about the landscape in the first place.
i feel it could have been better if there were outlines of tall buildings or noticeable landscapes.
and it doesn't look like a great sunrise to take, especially when you don't see much of a sun.

my two cents

Please always not to forget the rule of thirds.

this is blind chanting.

the composition of layers can work here. the only issue is that the sky is not even vaguely interesting to warrant such a composition.

wait for a more interesting sky, such a composition can work. otherwise, find something better for the viewer to focus on. :)
