To shoot mountain, water fall, lake and foreset etc, is it advisable to use
CPL filter all the time? besides eliminate reflect light, any other negtive impact on the images ( let's say using B+W CPL)? Thanks

It depends.. When shooting water, eg, reflections of mountain on the water, you should not use CPL as it cuts off reflections.

Generally, CPL will enhance the colour saturation, so good for landscape shots. Most noticable difference will be colour saturation and most impt drawback is the cut-down of light and thus need to use tripod etc. Usually, by 1 stop or more....

Besides what namesis mentioned, you also need to consider whether the landscape
is stationary, swaying trees, flying birds can all spoil your pictures when the shutter
is slow.
