the Italians are just too hot ... the wrong way in these cases....sigh....in the 80's it used to be the Alfas.....then the SAABs.....

Lambo distributor must have been laughing at Ferrari last week ..
this week its Ferrari that has the last laugh ;)

Maserati new cars "nose" so big ... a bit harder to overheat

Why har? Is it because of mid-engine configuration? Not enough cool air being channeled into the engine compartment? Front engine cars usually have the luxury of big mouth radiators to "jiak hong" - thus controls the the heat better?

Pure air flow and circulation perspective .. front engine gets more air compared to mid engine. Not only does the air cool the radiator, air also to some extent cool the engine.

Then they should incorporate more air scoops lor, like those on top of the F1 drivers.... :bsmilie: Side intakes cannot already - otherwise will compromise seating arrangement or make the car too fat.

thats why the murcielago has side air scoops that can open up for more air intake. But even then i doubt if these scoops will help in a traffic jam. But then italian cars have always had a history of running hot .. heat from the v10s already hefty, coupled with the hot weather + the guy probably has the air con full blast ... 1+1+1 .. poof

that's why my bicycle is the best, only that the tyres are deflated over the past 3 years..:bsmilie:

Bicycle with 2 flat tyres is still faster than a supercar in ashes.

Now when people suan you about your made-in-Korea/Thailand/China car, you can now say your car still better than supercar - at least never catch fire. :)
