Lakers in 6. Kobe will dominate the 4th quarters. The Celtics don't have anyone who's clutch. And that's what it will come down to in these close games.

thought Kevin Garnett is their clutch player? He does have a good reputation, Ray Allen as well.

gesh.. 21 years since they last met? still liked the match-ups bet bird and magic (and later magic vs jordan during the 90s) when i was still following NBA. ;p

now, the thrill of watching NBA is just not there for me... the current crop of players dun seem to match up to the previous stars, IMO.

its Laker's showtime !!!....been a fan since the days of Magic, Kareem, Worthy, Scott, Rambis, Cooper, McADoo.....

Kurt Rambis! hoho! Woohooo!

reminds me of a player from bulls last time... was it Cliff Levingston, big burly white guy, came flying out of nowhere to slam a missed free throw like MJ. Memorable for me, coz this Cliff was just a bench reserve player in the playoffs. :bsmilie:

im a fan of Magic and his magic dishes...so yah. Hehe

Check out Rambis getting clotheslined by McHale in the 1984 Finals:

Cliff Levingston is black. I think you're thinking about Bill Wennington.

YES! YES! Bill Wennington!!! Hahaha...his name not in wiki's bull's lineup...so i mixed up the name. A bit part player...but his put back slam on Jordan's (or was it pippen's?) freethrow was simply awesome! :bsmilie:

Not while the Boston hold home court advantage.

Kobe didn't play well today, and yet, the Lakers were within striking distance the entire game on Boston's home court. Odom didn't show up either, and yet the Celtics couldn't pull away till the last minute or so.

Lakers will definitely win 1 in Boston. I can't say the same about Boston and their road woes this playoffs. Kobe's too competitive to let them lose Game 2. And once it goes back to LA, I think the Lakers will have it sewn up.

Guess what, Lakers just lost game two, courtesy of a porous defence. You need to score, but you also need to prevent the other side from scoring more than you.
